For operators

Operator agreement

These are the terms between you and US Laundry Rentals. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If something here is unclear, ask before you apply.

Effective 6 August 2026. Applies to every operator listed in the directory, whether or not you pay for anything.

1Listing is free, and it stays free

Being listed in the directory costs nothing. Not now, and not later. There is no setup fee, no monthly fee, no territory fee, no referral fee, and no fee when a rental you got through your profile actually happens.

The only thing we ever charge for is the optional Verified badge in section 3, and the optional marketing leads in section 5. You can be listed forever without buying either one.

Plainly: we are not a lead broker. Your listing is not a trial, and it will not start costing money once enough operators join.

2What Verified means

Before an operator is marked Verified, we check five things:

We re-check every 12 months, and any time you change your pricing or coverage.

Verified means those five things were checked on the date shown on your profile. It is not an endorsement, a warranty of your work, and it is not a substitute for a customer doing their own homework. A listing that has not been through this shows as Listed rather than Verified, and says on the page where its details came from.

3The Verified badge, $99 a year

The badge is optional. It costs $99 per year and it covers the verification work and the annual re-check.

Early operators

The first 100 approved operators keep the $99 rate for as long as they stay subscribed, even after the price goes up for everyone else.

Renewal

It renews automatically each year. We email you 30 days before the charge. You can cancel any time before that charge with no penalty, and your listing stays up either way.

Refunds

What the badge does not buy

It does not buy exclusivity, ranking, placement, or a share of inquiries. Every operator who passes verification can hold one, including operators who compete with you in the same metro.

4Inquiries from your profile are yours

When someone finds you in the directory, searches their ZIP, lands on your profile and contacts you, that inquiry belongs to you. Only you.

That is true whether or not you hold a badge.

5Marketing leads are a separate, optional thing

Separately from the directory, we run our own advertising. Some people respond to that advertising without choosing an operator. Those are not profile inquiries, and they are not covered by section 4.

When one comes from an area you serve, we may offer it to you. If you want it, there is a per-lead connection fee, quoted before you accept. You are never obligated to take one, there is no subscription, and turning them down has no effect on your listing or your badge.

People who come in this way are told, on the form, that their details will be passed to operators serving their area.

6Your information, and getting removed

Your business information is yours. Publishing it here does not give us ownership of it.

You can ask to be removed at any time, for any reason or none, by emailing or calling us. We will take the listing down within 30 days of the request, usually much sooner. We do not require a reason, we will not put you through a retention pitch, and there is no notice period to serve.

What we do with the information you submit is set out in our privacy policy. The short version is that we do not sell or rent personal information.

7Accuracy is on you

The pricing, coverage, terms and contact details on your profile are yours. You are responsible for them being true, and for telling us when they change. We check them, but we are checking your numbers, not setting them.

Publishing a price here does not commit you to honoring it for a customer who shows up with a stale screenshot. It does commit you to telling us when it changes, because a directory that prints an old price is worse than no directory.

8Names, logos and the seal

While you are listed, you give us permission to show your business name, logo and the details you submitted, on your profile and in the parts of the site and its marketing that point to it. That permission ends when your listing does.

You may display our Verified Operator seal on your own website and materials while your badge is current. If your badge lapses or is pulled, take it down within 10 days.

9When we pull a listing or a badge

We can remove a listing or revoke a badge for any of these:

Where it is fixable, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it first. Removal for cause does not come with a refund.

10What we do not promise

We do not guarantee leads, calls, traffic, search ranking, placement on the page, or any amount of business. Nobody honest can. A listing puts you in front of people looking for what you do, and that is the whole of it.

We are not a party to any agreement you sign with a customer. Pricing, contracts, delivery, service and disputes are between you and them.

11Liability and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Our total liability to you, for anything arising out of the directory or these terms, is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For an operator who has never paid us anything, that amount is zero.

We would rather sort a problem out by talking. If that fails, either of us can take it to small claims court where the amount allows it.

12Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email listed operators before it takes effect. If you do not like the change, ask to be removed. We will not change the price of a badge you have already paid for, in the middle of its year.
