Working out the cheapest way to do your laundry

Four guides, each answering a different question. Each one also tells you when renting is the wrong answer.

Why these say when not to use us

We run a directory of washer and dryer rental operators, so we have an obvious interest in the conclusion. Every guide here shows its assumptions and its arithmetic so you can check it, and each one names the situations where renting is the wrong answer. If you do one or two loads a week, the laundromat is cheaper. If you are staying put for years and can handle a repair, buying used is cheaper. Both of those are said plainly in the guides.
