Stackable washer and dryer rental

A stacked set fits where a side by side pair will not, like an apartment closet or a hallway nook. These 6 operators say on their own website or page that they rent stackable or compact sets.

Will a stacked set fit?

  • Width. Compact stackable units are usually about 24 inches wide. Full size machines stacked with a kit are about 27 inches wide. Measure the opening and the doorway on the way in.
  • Height. A stacked pair needs roughly 6 to 7 feet of clearance, plus room above for the vent and the hoses.
  • Depth. Allow a few inches behind the machines for the hoses, the vent and the plug.
  • Hookups. The same as any set: hot and cold water, a drain, and a dryer outlet or gas line.

Only operators who state it themselves are listed here, with their own words and a link to where they said it. Others may offer stackable sets and simply have not published it, so if yours is not here, ask the operator who covers your ZIP.
