City offices are in the Government Center on Alum Creek Drive, and the Obetz Community Center is on Obetz Avenue. Groveport Road passes Veterans Park and Lancaster Park. The best known venue is Fortress Obetz, a 6,500 seat stadium built on the site of the former Columbus Motor Speedway. Dixon Quarry has a six acre fishing lake and a bike path that links to the Alum Creek Greenway. Employers listed in a 2014 village report included UPS, Zulily, Avnet and Goodyear. Common questions about renting in Obetz
How much is it to rent a washer and dryer in Obetz?
Appliance Rental Columbus charges $59 a month for a set. A single washer or dryer on its own is $44 a month. Delivery and installation are charged by the operator and repairs are included for as long as you rent.
Is this rent to own?
No. Appliance Rental Columbus rents the machines and keeps owning them. There is no purchase built into the payments and nothing owed when you stop, which is the main thing separating this from Aaron's and Rent-A-Center.
Do I need hookups?
For a standard set, yes: hot and cold water, a drain, and a 120V outlet, plus a vent or a 240V line depending on the dryer. Tell Appliance Rental Columbus what you have when you enquire and they will say straight away whether it will work. Some operators carry ventless machines for places without a vent.
What happens when I want to stop?
You tell them and they collect the machines. That is the difference between renting and rent to own: there is nothing left owing and nothing to sell on.
Who else rents washers and dryers in Obetz?
Appliance Rental Columbus is the operator we list for Obetz. The national rent-to-own chains also serve it, on the different terms described above. We list one independent per area rather than selling the same enquiry to three companies at once.
